It doesn’t require much to change a life. Guide Dogs of America (GDA) is dedicated to providing visually impaired men and women guide dogs and instruction in their use. All of this is given free of charge, so that they may live with increased mobility and independence.
With no government funding, GDA relies solely on donations, fundraising and volunteers. Since an IAM member founded the school in 1948, the IAM and it members across North America have made it possible for the GDA to thrive. Throughout the year, golf tournaments, motorcycle rides and other charity events are organized and sponsored by IAM members.
