NOMINATIONS AND ELECTION NOTICE
In accordance with the provisions of Article V. Section 1, of the District Lodge 141 Bylaws and Local Lodge 1731 Bylaws, this is the call for nominations and election of Delegates to the 2016 District 141 Convention.
Nominations will be held for 2016 DL 141 Convention Delegates at the regular business meeting on Wednesday, May 4 commencing at 5pm. DL 141 Convention will be held October 11-13, 2016 at Bally’s in Las Vegas. Nominations must be made from the floor by a member in good standing. Members may nominate themselves. Nominations may not be in writing. Members who are not present may be nominated but must have a letter on file with the Recording Secretary stating they will accept the nomination. Eligibility rules apply in order to be nominated, ( such as attendance at local lodge meetings.) Contact Recording Secretary with any questions regarding eligibility.
Election for 2016 DL 141 Convention Delegates ,IF NEEDED, (meaning there are more delegates nominated than we are allowed to send), will take place on Wednesday, June 1 at the Local Lodge 1731 Hall, 669 N Rocky River Drive, Berea, Ohio. Polls will be open from 7:00am until 5:00pm.
In accordance with the IAM Constitution, any member entitled to receive an absentee ballot shall make a written request to the Recording Secretary of Local Lodge 1731 that must be received no later than 30 days before the election (must be received by May 4, 2016).
